L3 Technology Limited (L3T) has developed a unique Point of Care (POC) testing system designed to be capable of reading a range of blood analytes from a variety of samples.  The sample, which may be whole blood, plasma or serum, can be neat or of known dilution.  The first system, in the final stages of testing, is a simple three minute, in-vitro diagnostic test system for analysing Total Lipid, Total Cholesterol, HDL and LDL using a single Lipid Profile Reagent Card and a hand held Fluorescence Card Reader.

The success of the lipid profile testing system has proven the versatility of the L3T POC platform.  The Company is now preparing for full commercialisation of the platform system, which has huge potential to upgrade POC testing on a global basis.
